Summer School Offered

Joliet Elementary School will offer Summer School for students in K-8. Students who are recommended by a teacher will take precedence over others for the limited spots available. This opportunity will allow our students time to refine and hone skills in reading and math that they will need to maintain an academic trajectory for success.
The summer school session is 15 days long, and will be scheduled from June 11th through June 29th. Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In an effort to maximize instructional time and provide a classroom climate conducive to learning, we maintain the same high expectations for students to follow classroom rules and procedures. Attendance is important, and the expectation for appropriate behavior is sustained through the summer school session.
Students will need a pencil, pen, backpack, and a daily snack for summer school. All other items will be furnished. The fee for summer school is $25 unless it has been waived through the required paperwork. Please pay by the first day of summer school.
Summer school offers a time of reflection, growth, and preparation for the upcoming year. We look forward to sharing these experiences with your child. If you have questions or comments, please feel free to call Joliet Public School 962-3541. We excitedly anticipate working with you and your child this summer!
